Started in 2020 by buddies Clay Gilbert and Greg, new to the Damariscotta River, Pleasant Cove grows a meticulous oyster. They bring with them a precise work ethic learned from years of Lobstering. Both have an understanding of Maine waters and it shows in their fabulous end product. Being grown closer in proximity to the ocean, creates an Oyster with a beautiful crisp brine. The crew is closely focused on quality and is quickly becoming known as one of the best oysters grown by a small operation on the river. High regards for the Pleasant cove oyster.
